The "Berlin Model"
If you have decided to be supervised by in the mini band, you will have a detailed admission interview.
In this conversation I want to find out as much as possible about your child. Are there likes and dislikes? Allergies? How is the sleep behavior? Is there a favorite cuddly toy, cloth, toy, etc.? Were there any special features during pregnancy and childbirth?
The more I know about your child, the better I can adjust to it and solve any problems that may arise.
In the first few days, one parent comes to the facility with the child. The child can get used to the new environment in a relaxed manner. I ask that the acclimatization person remains constant, because alternating or changing often unsettles the child and the other day children.
The acclimatization person tries to hold back in time and to give your child enough space. Nevertheless, you are in the immediate vicinity. When your child needs you, you are there. If they want to deal with me or the other children, we would be happy to accept this offer. There is no attempt at separation during the first few days.
On the whole, be the boring mother / father there is. if your child wants to play with them, don't go into it. Then try to mediate between me and the other children to play with us. If your child has affection such as a hug, kiss, ect. you like to go into it. This increases the security between you, me and the spatial situation.
